Lu-An Tang is a Ph.D. candidate in the Data and Information System (DAIS) Laboratory, Computer Science Department at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is a member of the Data Mining Research Group. His PhD advisor is Prof. Jiawei Han. Prior to join UIUC in Aug. 2008, he received both MS and BS degrees from Peking University in 2007 and 2004, respectively. He studied in the University of Southern California as a CS PhD student from Aug. 2007 to May. 2008.
