About me

I am a graduate student in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Illinois.  I work in the Scientific Computing Group with Professor Michael Heath. My current research focuses on minimum-volume enclosing ellipsoids, including methods for their calculation and applications.  My interests include numerical analysis, high-performance computing, and the application of these to problems in science.

I received a B.S. in Computer Science from Grand Valley State University, where I worked in the Distributed Execution Network (DEN) Lab with Professor Greg Wolffe.nathaniel_bowman
