Amazon Web Services Deep Learning

I am an Applied Scientist at the AWS Deep Learning group led by Dr. Alex Smola. I received Ph.D. in Computer Science from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2017 under the supervision of Prof. Carl A. Gunter and Prof. Jiawei Han. My research interests are in data mining, machine learning, optimization, and privacy.

My past internships were with Google Research, Microsoft Research, Yahoo Labs, UBS, and proprietary trading. I obtained M.S. in Statistics and M.S. in Computer Science in 2015, and B.Eng in Computer Science (GPA Rank: 1/214) in 2012.
