I am a fifth year PhD student in the Computer Science department at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign advised by Manoj Prabhakaran. I am primarily interested in Cryptography, Secure multi-party computation, and Privacy. This semester I am supported by the Andrew & Shana Laursen Fellowship. I obtained my B.Tech and MS in Computer Science and Engineering from IIIT-Hyderabad, India, under the guidance of Kannan Srinathan.

I was the (invited) guest editor for the Spring issue of ACM XRDS on Cryptography. I wrote an introduction to the magazine, conducted an interview, and solicited articles, among other things. The issue has a number of great articles on modern cryptographic techniques. Enjoy reading them!

I spent the summer of 2014 as an intern in the Cryptography Research group at Microsoft Research, Redmond, working with Melissa Chase. During summer of 2012, I interned in the Cryptography and Complexity group at Microsoft Research, India, working with Vipul Goyal. In the past, I have interned at Amazon and Synovel at their Hyderabad, India office; and participated in the Google Summer of Code.
